TED GRANSBURY
Chief Pilot
Based in Hendricks County, Ted has been flying the Indiana skies since 2012 and has traveled to various festivals throughout the Midwest with his balloon and crew.
A few favorite moments include picking up a role as Crew Chief and Counselor at the Great Eastern Balloon Camp in 2015 and 2016, as well as having flown multiple times in Albuquerque, NM during the International Balloon Fiesta while surrounded by more than 500 balloons.
JOHNNY CHANGO
Large and in Charge
Johnny Chango is the fighter-pilot name for Lilly Bee, Ted's balloon. "Lilly Bee" means "Live Life, Be Happy" but during fun and competition flight the name Johnny Chango is preferred.

Johnny enjoys long flights over plowed crop fields, over reservoirs and doesn't mind being accompanied by other balloons from the area.
FLIGHT CREW
Seasoned & Awesome
Without our flight crews we can't inflate the balloon and we can't recover the balloon. They drive along the flight path looking for landing spots, livestock and powerlines and when it comes time to land they knock on homeowner's doors looking for permission to land before we get there helping to ensure our community relations are in great shape. Truly appreciated for everything they do.
